McKenna’s campaign says this…
According to the Associated Press, McKenna refuses to take a stand on the Republican budget, saying through a campaign spokesperson, “The appropriate time to [comment] is when the budget process has been completed.”
McKenna’s AG office says this…
According to PubliCola.com, McKenna said through an official spokesperson, “Legislators deserve the credit for reaching across the aisle, finding areas of consensus and passing a budget.”
McKenna himself has said this…
“We make state government leaner, more productive, and less expensive, and we’re going to reprioritize spending…If we care about our children’s future, much more of that second pie must be devoted to a reformed public school system, and our colleges and universities.” [McKenna, New Direction Breakfast, 11/8/11]
Will the real Rob McKenna step forward?
